Felt strongish today. Lovely flat racing route in Victoria Park, but with all the athletes slowing in the same parts, namely where the breeze was - it was just enough to temper the pace. Otherwise, this would have been a sub-26 for sure (see the 3.20s into wind below)
Splits:
1k - 3.03 min/k
2k - 3.12
3k - 3.23
4k - 3.19
5k - 3.15
6k - 3.17
7k - 3.26
8k - 3.14
OK though considering the fast pace of yesterday, and felt strong enough to be able to pick it up today when I needed to.
Ran back all the way along the canal to Regents Park (zoo), then picked up a Boris Bike through St John's Wood, Notting Hill, and down into Shepherd's Bush before running the 4M back from there. Solid total, albeit the latter 15M being nothing more than a jog. Time to ease it back down now - 2 weeks to go!
