8k race, warm up and cool down took total to 13 miles.
Given that there's now over 74 miles in the legs from this week I felt pretty strong on Wimbledon Common today. Not seen the results yet, but must have been one of my higher finishes. Ground varied from frozen solid to mush where the sun had managed to penetrate the woods. The Belgrave Course at the far end of the Common (from Richmond Park) and a good standard field. Recovered quite quickly off the back of the only steep hill on the course so the fitness is definitely improving in comparison to where it was a few weeks ago. Good to see a strong Thames Hare & Hounds turn out, think we finished second though, but OK given it wasn't our strongest field.
