A steady 2 hrs, goal being to remain niggle free

16M steady (AM) - between 4-4.30 min/k
Total for week = 77M

Its been a couple of weeks since I've been able to get some decent back-back mileage in. Fortunately, the base of my left foot has held up and no longer feeling the onset of plantar fasciitus, if anything the right one is starting to niggle! But the measure of whether its going to develop into anything is usually a half hour or so after stopping, and fortunately nothing has flared up.

Today's run was the standard 'long one' with Thames Hare & Hounds (but made all the more invigorating with 5-10cm of lying snow) 30 minutes to Robin Hood Gate, Richmond Park, then around the edge to Ham Gate before heading through Ham and onto the Thames Path which heads back through to Richmond centre, up Richmond Hill and back into the Park. I'm still pulling out at either Bog Gate or Sheen Gate in order to keep the time to 2 hrs rather than running all the way back around to Robin Hood (not quite ready for that yet). This will need to change a bit over the next few weeks though as the run time gets up to 2.30/2.45.

So a reasonable end to a reasonable week. Just need to get a few more weeks of 70-80+ and remain injury free before the big marathon mileage really kicks in later in Feb/early March.
