Total for day - 20M, including Northern Athletics 12 stage relays short leg
AM - Warm up, Cool down and a few laps of Sefton Park (including 3.8k hard on leg 4)
PM - 11 miles back from Euston through the parks and along the river. Felt great - in the zone.

Epic day. First Senior medal. Running with the Morpeth A team at the Northern 12 stage road relays up in Liverpool. Took the train up from Euston early doors, ran from Lime St. to Sefton Park. Rest history.
1k - 3.05
2k - 3.08
3k - 3.12
3.8k - 2.40
Great to pull (just) a place back for the team too.
Team results:
One those mighty close battles for the last 3 or 4 legs with us alternating between the horrible 4th, and the bronze medal positions. A superb run from Pete Newton clinched enough seconds to give Dave Swin a 'glory' glory leg. One of those relays that had it all - on a really high off this.
Ran back from Euston, totally in 'the zone'. Because of the northerly breeze, the Royal Parks and the Thames Path were desolate. None of the 'early summer' crowds of the last week, made it all the better with the wind behind me and London effectively to myself. Great end to a great day.
