Ran back from Euston station with the standard heavy pack. Tried to concentrate on holding a good posture and using the additional weight to strengthen the core. Legs felt OK given last night's session, actually pretty strong on reflection. Without the weight I could have definitely pushed on quite a bit, so hopefully starting to recover quite well over longer distances.
Wore my new full length compression rights to bed last night and think they're working too. Although they don't half squash the bladder. I never get up to pee in the middle of the night. Well, until last night. They push more than just blood back to the heart.
Don't think I'll run tomorrow morning and let the body recover a little more. Will run back tomorrow night though, probably a fartlek in the new marathon racers. But injecting a bit of pace as conscious I'm probably lacking longer speed endurance. Don't want to overdo with Sunday in mind though, so might make the recoveries fairly long.
