Short but speedy

8M single (16 X 400 off 30s, then 6 x 80m hard hills; plus warm up and cool down).

Hit up the track at Highgate tonight, couple of big groups, great to see the track as busy. The 30s was good, and I was pleased by how quickly I was feeling between efforts, and how strong the legs felt given there's 60+ miles in them over the last 3 days. Splits for the record:

Good to get the leg turn over going. Finished it off with 6 x 80m hard up the grass hill by the track. Always amazed by how 'awake' I feel after these track sessions on a Tuesday, despite arriving feeling like I want to go to bed. Must be the endorphins. Good night.
